About us

Traveling is great and exhausting at once, even more if traveling around the world at a slow pace nonstop as we do now for four years. Settle down or not?

Hi! Thanks for your interest in our blog!

Are you also traveling the World or do you dream of quitting your job and heading off, wherever the wind is blowing you?

We provide a platform for Grey World Nomads about travels around the world at a slow pace, early retirement, traveling on a shoestring, rolling homes, tales and photos of the best of a lifetime.

May we introduce ourselves?

We are, Marcelle and George, a Swiss – South African couple traveling the world. We gave up our homes five years ago to be able to do, what we always dreamed of: to see other countries and experience different cultures at a slow pace.

She is an animal lover with great passion for wildlife.

We hope you enjoy the travel stories, photos and travel advice. Please get in touch with us, if you are a Grey Nomad and want to contribute (even if you are not grey at all 😉 or if you’d like to work together with us.

Greetings from somewhere on this beautiful world

  1. Nice to find your blog and to read about the adventures you’re encountering along the way. Slow travel is a wonderful concept, glad you’re finding ways to enhance the journey. Maybe our paths will cross if you’re in the Simon’s Town area?
